Dear Friends,
Dorian Schneidman passed away on July 20 at his residence. His was a life that spanned more than four decades under Mother’s love and protection and Sri Aurobindo’s Compassion. Throughout, he never wavered in his commitment to the service of the Center, the call of his soul.
He requested to be near the relics for this picture. It is symbolic. Sri Aurobindo and the Mother were his everything and in them he found all the truth his soul sought. His heart, mind and soul sought refuge only in Sri Aurobindo through his deep admiration and adoration for the Master.

A dear friend, Dorian, whom we have known for many years, and were fortunate to witness his constant devotion to Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. His devotion was an inspiration to all at the EWCC. His dedicated work in the creation and maintenance of the gardens for over 30 years, bear witness to Dorian’s dedicated Karma yoga. We will miss his devoted presence and long-standing friendship.
I will miss him, all the the wonderful times we had together.
